Steering Group

Our Steering Group is comprised of guests from former shelter seasons, who meet several times a year to help inform our programming and ensure that we update our project to ensure we always provide the best possible services for guests who join us in forthcoming seasons.

Their suggestions have seen the creation of Sunday Club, now an intrinsic part of the shelter season. Last year, we also held our first ever Shelter Launch Event, where several members of the group shared their experiences first hand to those interested in getting involved with C4WS as volunteers. Their first hand stories of life in the shelter ensured that those who did attend got a full picture of our work and we saw a record number of volunteer sign ups thanks to that event.

We remain grateful to them, not only for being so forthcoming with their ideas, but also so willing to share their personal experiences – as this is what makes C4WS.
