Our Staff
NIKKI, DIRECTOR
Nikki supervises all the work of C4WS Homeless Project, providing the direction and vision of C4WS alongside its Trustees.
She oversees the Welfare Team in the provision of welfare support for all our guests. This is inclusive of move on plans into secure and stable housing and the Next Steps programme to provide continuation of support once someone is in their new home.
She oversees the work of the Operations Team in the provision of the Winter Night Shelter and supporting activities, such as the Jobs Club, English Classes, Friday Club, Home from Home and Sunday Club.
Nikki also heads up the fundraising for C4WS Homeless Project, and manages our corporate partnerships.
Marc, Services & data Manager
Marc runs Jobs Club which helps guests become job-ready and obtain training for employment and volunteering positions. He also coordinates our English Classes, Conversation Club, Tenancy Sustainment and Mentoring and Befriending Scheme.
He is also in charge of capturing and procesing all relevant Data connected with the support we provide to our guests, this together with the feedback we receive from volunteers and guests help us improve our services making sure they remain relevant and effective.
In addition, Marc provides support to the team as a whole, and is an invaluable part of the service we provide to our guests.
Rahel, welfare Coordinator
Rahel manages our Sunday Club - a weekly drop-in service for our shelter guests which provides a space for guests to step away from the demands of the week to relax, do their laundry and ultimately refresh themselves ready for the week ahead.
Rahel also assists with the move on for our guests into their new accommodation, helping them to settle in and providing starter packs of food and essential household items.
Rahel also provides support during the shelter season to the team as a whole, taking part in weekly shifts at the shelter.
Rachel Lucas, WELFARE COORDINATOR
Rachel makes up one half of our Welfare Team, supporting guests to achieve their desired next steps in terms of housing and wellbeing.
She has worked in the housing sector for several years, supporting vulnerable people with welfare benefits, grants applications and tenancy sustainment. She also holds experience on housing rights, homelessness and the private renting sector market.
In the past Rachel did volunteering in shelters where she contributed as a cook.
