Summer Programme

During the summer months, when the shelter is closed, our office remains open and we continue to support ex-shelter guests with welfare casework.

Our Summer Programme is a series of trips we run during the summer months, creating an opportunity to check back in with those we have supported over the years. It is a soft-touch way of working out if there is further casework we can do, such as tenancy sustainment work or supporting ex-guests to find job or volunteering opportunities.

These trips also provide volunteering opportunities for our C4WS volunteers whilst the shelter is closed.

Here are some photos taken at our various summer trips, including a trip to see Andrea Levy’s literary archive at the British Library, Wes Anderson: The Archives exhibition at the Design Museum, and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
